Private Commission Price: $490

This rate is at a "lower" price because I want to make this option available to private collectors and enthusiasts.

Description:
I will create one original clay/wax head sculpt in 1:6 scale. The commision cost only covers the cost making the head sculpture.

Casting and Molding:
A mold costs $25.
Each additional casting is $10 each (as many as you need)

If you purchase 5 or more castings, the molding cost is FREE.
The castings are produced by a professional master caster.



 

Terms and Conditions for Private Commissions:
The castings of the sculpt are exclusive for the client. The client may sell them afterwards, however, there are conditions:
At the Private Commission price, the client will receive the original but they are not allowed to do the molding and casting themselves. They must purchase all castings through me.

Terms and Conditions for Commercial Pricing:
The client has two choices:
1) Pay the commercial price of $600 and the client has all rights to the sculpture. The client will receive the original and may do the molding and casting themselves.
OR . . .
2) Pay the Private Commission price of $490, but all castings must be purchased through me ($10 a casting).

The Process
1. Deposit: Once I have confirmed your order, a $100 deposit is required. The rest of the balance is due once client approves of final pictures.

2. Reference Pictures: Client is responsible for sending as many reference pictures of the subject as possible. Please include side profiles and angle profiles. Reference pictures should be HIGH resolution if possible and the facial expression of the subect should be consistent throughout the pictures.Client should also send one MASTER REFERENCE picture which I will use to base the expression and hair length of the sculpture.

4. In-Progress Photos: I will email as many in-progress photos as possible while I am sculpting the piece.

5. Duration: 1-2 weeks for sculpting. 2 weeks for casting and molding and longer depending on production size.

6. Final Photos: After I show the final photos of the complete face, the client may suggest any necessary modifications in one email. Not all modifications will be possible.

7. Final Payment: Upon approval of the final photos, the client should send the rest of the balance (including shipping and any additional castings).

8. Casting: After I receive the final payment, I will bake the sculpt and send it to my caster. The castings and original will be shipped via Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation.
